Our Story

Hey, I’m Jake—the founder (and the one actually pouring every candle) behind Bottle to Flame here in Denver, Colorado.

I’ve always been someone who connects memories to scent. A really good glass of wine, a perfectly mixed cocktail, a random night that turns into one you don’t forget—those moments tend to stick, and a lot of that comes down to how they smell.

I started Bottle to Flame because I didn’t want those experiences to feel so temporary. I wanted a way to bring them into everyday life—something you could light up at home and instantly shift the mood.

Each candle is inspired by the aroma and feel of a specific drink, but it’s really about the moment behind it. Everything is hand-poured by me in small batches using soy wax, clean-burning wicks, and fragrance oils that are meant to feel layered and true—not overpowering.

At the end of the day, this isn’t just about candles. It’s about creating a space that feels a little better—whether that’s a slow morning, a quiet night, or something worth celebrating.
